I have always been a writer; when I was a small child I wrote and illustrated stories with characters such as witches and talking houses. At the age of fifteen I completed a historical murder mystery romance but as it wasn’t very good I became discouraged and turned myself to other hobbies. It took me another fifteen years to take up my pen again, spurred into action by reading a really badly-written book and thinking I could do better than that!
I now specialise in writing fiction about difficult topics in an accessible and uplifting way. My Glasgow Guys series now has three books in it! Happiness is a heart-warming novel of friendship and found family that also touches on mental health and suicide. Trust is a romantic novel that takes a look at the issues surrounding workplace harassment and PTSD. Memories is a second chance romance that also explores the challenges of taking on a caring role for a mother with dementia. I’m now working on a second series set in a fictional Scottish village.
I live in Glasgow and I spend my time teaching first aid, crafting novels, going walking in the hills and volunteering.
I’m not on social media at the moment but if you want to keep up with the latest news about my books please do subscribe to my newsletter here.
I am a member of the Romantic Novelists’ Association.
